My Home Town, Gosport in Hampshire, England
I started life in January 1960 in Gosport. For 53 years, I lived there, on and off. I was the youngest of 3 children. My older brother, Michael, was 8 years old in October of that year and Jaquie was 4 years old a month after I was born. In those days, many babies were born at Blake Maternity Home in Gosport, where I was also born. The picture above is where I started life. My first home was in the block of flats pictured above in Suncourt Villas on Brockhurst road. I don't have any memories of living there, but I spent many Christmas visits at my mum's friend's flat in the same block. We all called the friend Auntie Peggy and I loved her to bits.
